Chelsea | Allan House bridals photography

Chelsea and Matt got married in Houston last weekend and it was a great time!  We had the best weather and even got a little bit of sunset for the photos after the ceremony.  I can’t wait to show you photos from the wedding.

But, for now- I would like to show you some of Chelsea’s bridal photos.  We shot these at the beautiful Allan House; here are a few of the ones I really like.

What an awesome chair!  I saw it the moment I walked in and was determined to use it!

Having fun is a prerequisite when taking photos!  : )

Check out those hot shoes!  I always get so excited when I see color shoes on a bride!  So cute!

Hi there all brides and grooms!

Hi guys,

I just wanted to write a little note about the next few week and this summer.
If you are a bride who needs to have any type of portrait session done and have not set your date yet- this is a really good time to do it!

I have many dates open during April [M-F and even some weekends] and I can fit you in.  I am all booked up in May and will not be able to shoot portraits June-July and August.
Believe me- you don’t want to either!  Those months are simply way too hot to be running around town and doing a photo session.

Please get in touch so we can set up the date for you.

Thanks so much,
Sherry : )

Urban Wedding Divas [open house]

As you may know I have a new studio that I share with 3 other very talented girls.  Shannon Cunningham, Lisa Woods and Katie Astoria.    Be sure to visit The Urban Wedding Divas blog too!

We had our open house last night to officially open the doors to our brand new and fabulous studio!   It was so fun!  Lots of friends and family showed up to wish us well and we even had some help from some amazing vendors in Austin.

Ryan + Griff | Mount Bonnell engagement photography

I really don’t have to say that I had fun shooting this cute couple- I think it shows in the photos.  Ryan knew what she liked to have for her engagement photos and together we made it happen.  Most of the locations we shot at have a connection to Ryan and Griff’s life together.  They met at the firehouse lounge, they had their first date at Mt. Bonnel and they love the lake and spend a lot of time hanging out there.  In between the “must have” spots, we found some really neat places for photos.

Here are just a few of my favs!   Seriously- I can’t wait to see what their fabulous wedding in August will be like.   I have a feeling it’s going to be awesome!  I mean- come on-I have a super fun good looking couple and then add coordinator extraordinaire Becky Brock, plus the TX federation women’s club- are you kidding me?!

ok- here is how you do the wave!

So Ryan went to UT- Go Horns!- and Griff went to LSU.  This was a problem when they watched the games since Ryan was having a hard time picking colors to wear.  Being the super resourceful girl that she is- she designed a whole new t-shirt.  Check it out!  You need one?  I can hook you up! : )

I loooove it when I see a cool detail- like Ryan’s red hot shoes- thrown in the mix!

Morgan + Sam [a family thing!]

Morgan is a dear friend of mine and she has an awesome little brother- Sam. They wanted to give their mom a different kind of Christmas present this year.  Morgan called me and said that they would like some photos.  I have 2 younger brothers so I know how fun and special Morgan and Sam’s relationship is.
They are so cute!  Loving, jabbing, and goofy all at the same time.   I loved shooting this session and I hope that it was a good Christmas present.

Here are a few of my favourites- althought I have many more!

Oh- and please let me not forget about Buddy!  He is such a cute dog and totally loved the camera!
