Courtney | Austin senior photography

Sometimes you get the opportunity to photograph someone who has so much spunk, presence and attitude- all you have to do is to point your camera, focus and press the trigger!
That’s how my shoot with Courtney turned out to be!  The first thing I noticed about this awesome girl was her eyes- you’re seriously kidding me right? wow!
Once I started talking to Courtney about her Plans after HS- it turned out that she is not only incredibly sweet and nice but she is super smart and is about to embark on a very challenging and amazing journey.  Good luck in Miami!  : )

Then we start the shoot!  I could not believe how comfortable this girl was in front of the camera!
Courtney- can I have about 3 ounces of that? haha!
I tell you- I have so many favorites I had such a hard time picking- but these are my very very favorite shots of the day.

I have to give a shout-out to Courtney’s dad who came along and helped me with this shoot- Thank you!

Do you see what I am talking about with Courtney’s eyes?!!!!

It was a rather windy day but I think it worked well!

Work it out!

Bob Marley is one of Courtney’s favorite artist so it was only right that we took a couple of photos here.

Oh- and we got chased off the tracks by the police!  Way to ruin the perfect shot! haha!

I am amazed how Courtney could go from “super chick attitude” to “sweet and cute smile” in 3 seconds flat!

We found this cool mural! Courtney was like- oh you got to get that text in the shot!

You rock chicka!  : )

Bethany and Jeremy | East Austin Engagement Photography

#1 Thank you guys for driving to Austin for this shoot!

#2 Thank you Bethany for wearing hot shoes!

#3 Thank you Jeremy for having all kinds of cool ideas!

I love this couple!  Bethany and Jeremy are getting married at the end of May and I can’t wait for the big day.  They are so much fun to shoot.  Jeremy’s mom is a photographer so he’s used to having a camera stuck in his face and Bethany- well, she’s just a natural!

Here are a few of my favorites from their engagement session.

A request- the walking shot!

How cool is it that her shoes match the graffiti!

Jeremy spotted the “Bread, Food, Love”!

As our last stop, we went by one of the oldest and coolest fire stations in Austin. Jeremy is a Firefighter so he got us in for some photos.  I was ecstatic!

What a shoot- you guys rock!  : )

Stephanie + Jeremy | Hamilton 12 wedding photography

I am so glad I got to go to this awesome wedding!

My friend and fabulous photographer Shannon Cunningham asked me to second shoot Stephanie and Jeremy’s wedding with her. Make sure to check out her blog for more photos from the wedding.

I can’t tell you how much fun it was to capture this one!  The details, the people, the weather, the location- all fit together perfectly!

I have so many favorites I was having a hard time picking photos for the blog.  I mean- seriously- I had to step away for a couple of hours and then try to pick out the blog photos!

Thank you Stephanie and Jeremy for having me there on your big day- what a treat!

Someone worked really hard on all these beautiful details! wow!

What a fun wedding party! I love these guys!

Favorite mother/daughter shot ever!

Seriously! How stunning is Stephanie?!

This was truly a beautiful afternoon!

After the ceremony, Stephanie sprinkled some orange into her gown! Fabulous!

A few years ago I got to shoot a “bike” getaway! It was the best and I have been waiting for another one to come along!

Here are a few other vendors who had something to do with this awesomeness!

Flowers  Bouquets of Austin

Cool details Mancino Ironworks

Cake: Matty Cakes

Leah | Austin Maternity photography

My friend Leah Muse, who is a fabulous photographer here in Austin, is about to be a mommy!  She is seriously one of the cutest pregnant women I have ever seen so when she asked me to take some photos of her I could not be more trilled!

We went out to an unlikely place covered with dead long grass just as the sun was setting to do these photos.  We both wanted to get that golden, natural light, romantic feel out of these photos.   I loved it!

Yes- we had to cross a creek by jumping and balancing on slippery rocks while carrying babies and photo equipment, but I’d say it was worth it!

Here are a few of my favs!

Leah is very good at doing a pose that looks like a non-pose!  Love it!

I love the patterns the leaves made!

Thanks Leah for this really fun shoot!  Hugs! : )
