I am so lucky to have such amazing, talented and awesome friends!
Yesterday my friends and fellow Divas, Lisa and Shannon, took some time and treated Sean and I to a way cool photo session.  I normally don’t do well on the other side of the camera but someone the girls managed to capture some amazing moments that leaves me gasping for air!

Go to Lisa’s Blog to see the whole series!  I heart you girls!  : )

Behind the scenes!

I thought today was a good day to take a moment and post a couple of behind the scenes photos!     Lately, I have been taking an entourage with me to weddings!  It’s getting a little more difficult to carry my equipment so my girl Leslie has been helping out.
It’s so awesome!  I get to concentrate on shooting and am not getting nearly as tired as I would be if I had to carry all my stuff around.

Here are a couple of photos we got of eachother at Carolyn and Jim’s wedding.  Love how James and Leslie did the same exact thing at the same time!  haha!

Laura | Vista West Ranch bridal photography}

Laura is now a Mrs and on her way to her honeymoon!

She and Mark got married last night and had a great party at the Four Seasons.  We had so much fun at the wedding and I can’t wait to start working on their photos.
Now that they are married, I get to show off a few from Laura’s bridal session.   Does she not look amazing?

I shot this fun session at Vista West Ranch.   What a cool place!  If you’re looking for a laid back, beautiful setting for your wedding or a bridal session you really should check this place out!
Kudos to Petal Pushers for the awesome flowers and Amanda Pye for the great job on the makeup.

I just love Laura’s dress!  It has this wrap that she had around her shoulders for the church and then the wrap goes around her waist to turn the dress into party mode!

That’s just cool!  Love those boots!

This is how the back of Laura’s dress looked like once the warp was tied around her waist.  So cute!

Hello blue eyes!

As the sun was setting, we found an awesome patch of dried grass and perfect light!  Looooove it!

Laura ordered a canvas gallery wrap for her bridal photo.  I am so excited that she did.  The canvas gallery wrap turns your favourit photo to instant art!  They are not only easy to display but the texture of canvas gives photos a little something extra.  The fact that she picked out one of my ultimate favorite photos for her canvas, was just awesome! What can I say, the girl got good taste!  hehe!

Check it out!

Thank you guys for a great evening- have fun on your honeymoon!  : )

Heather + Josh | East Austin engagement photography

Heather and Josh are such a fun couple!  The very first time I met them, I knew I was going to enjoy working with them.  They both had so many fun ideas for their photos and they are literary up for anything! Apart from that, these two have great style and are so cute together- which makes the perfect combination for engagement photos.
I loved how they could be super goofy and funny one minute and totally hot and cool the next!

We went to the Cathedral of Junk (Heather’s idea) for some photos and ended up in east Austin for some more urban stuff.

I can’t wait to shoot their wedding this fall!  Thank you guys for a fun afternoon!  : )

Can you spot them?

Seriously?  Josh can jump really high!

Josh has this really cool vintage bike that they brought along for some photos.  I love that!

Then on to East Austin!  Don’t you just love Heather’s dress?  So cute!

The colors worked so well!  I am in love with their outfits!

Now that’s a smoking couple!  : )
