Meredith + Toby – austin engagement photography

Meredith and Toby met me on a windy day for some engagement photos.
The moment Meredith walked into the studio and I saw what she was wearing… I was sold!  I usually don’t recommend a white dress for engagement photos but the girl can pull it off!   I love the blue heals too!     These guys are so cute and I really enjoyed hanging out with them.  They are so laid back and that’s just the cherry on top!   Their big day is just a few weeks away and I can’t wait to party with them!

I’m mad about these colors!   I used to be all about b&w but I’ve really “seen” colors in the last couple of years.  I so get a kick out of finding color when shooting!

Brittany- Buda bridal photography

The blog has been dominate by photos of our little Sofie lately.   Now that I am back to work, I want to start showing off all the fabulous spring weddings and portraits.
To start things- meet Brittany!

I love Brittany! We met in Buda and explored the funky/old fashioned/cool streets of old downtown.   What a great place to shoot!  Brittany got married back in July just a few days after Sofie was born so I did not get to shoot the wedding!  : ( bummer!   But so happy I got to steal her for her bridals!  Thanks girl for a great shoot!

Family Photos {Sean, Sherry and Sofie}

This is my last official weekend on maternity leave and to celebrate this wonderful time we got to do our first family photo session.  My fabulous second shooter and amazing photographer James, of James Dvorscak Photography, took some really cute photos of us.   He has more pics on his blog and you should go there and have a look!

Sofie is one month! | austin baby photography

Sofie just turned one month- a few days ago!

We’ve had a few sleepless nights and lots crazy zombie like days!  But more important than that- we’ve had so many wonderful moments with the little one- she is rather amazing!
I have a couple of more weeks of maternity leave left and I am starting to find my feet again!  It’s nice to be able to find some time to edit a few photos, answer a few emails and not be super duper tired all the time.

I wanted to share some photos I took of my little love when she turned one month.  She is getting so good at making faces and I wanted to capture that.   She had a full tummy and a clean diaper so she was more than happy to work with me!
